3-Position Toggle Valves are dual function products that contain two valves in one body with a common input and common exhaust. These valves can be used as independent 3-way valves or as a 4-way (5/3) with an Open Center. They are routinely used as a pneumatic pilot control for a hydraulic valve or to control the motion of an air motor. Pressure supplied to the input port flows through the selected output port to actuate the hydraulic valve or forward and reverse the air motor. A non-threaded exhaust port relieves system pressure to atmosphere. The 3-way can also be used in 4-way applications to extend and retract cylinders.
